Caroline Devine is a UK based artist and composer who makes large-scale sound installations. The latest in a series of ‘quiet works’ commissioned by Robert Blackson at Philadelphia’s Temple Contemporary, “City Of Things” takes field recordings as a starting point for composition. It appropriates material from Devine’s current 60-channel citywide sound installation featuring sonic investigations of the UK new town of Milton Keynes.
