Since 2013 the duo of Alchymie aka pianist and keyboardist Jennifer Theuer Ruzicka from Naples, Florida, and contrabassist Gregg Skloff from Astoria, Oregon have been occasionally working together in a zone where ambient drone, new age, modern classical and improvisation overlap. Their intention? To “create sonic portrayals of extraterrestrial space” such as The Kuiper Belt (2016) and The Oort Cloud (2018), both released by Aerocade Music.
