Los Angeles trombonist, composer and arranger Ryan Porter has worked with The Clayton Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, Rihanna, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Al Green, Roy Hargrove, Lauryn Hill, Aretha Franklin, Al Green, Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock and Kamasi Washington, among many other artists. After joining Alpha Pup’s jazz imprint World Galaxy in 2017, he released his debut children’s album Spangle-Lang Lane and this year’s follow-up triple album The Optimist.
