Inspired by Iran’s religious, political and cultural history, Saint Abdullah is the music project of Iranian-Canadian brothers Mohammad and Mehdi, now based in Brooklyn. Saint Abdullah, they say, was formed out of “a deep frustration with the way the West perceives – and treats – Muslims and the Islamic faith”. They aim to “challenge stereotypes and act as a conduit between unnecessary enemies”. Their second LP Stars Have Eyes has just been released by PTP.
