Montreal composer, sound artist and researcher Ana Dall’Ara-Majek performs with saxophonist Ida Toninato in the duo Jane/KIN, founded in 2015. Her other collaborators include choreographers Tedi Tafel and François Raffinot, dancer Jason Shipley-Holmes, film maker Patrick Lapierre and Productions Totem Contemporain. She has also composed for chamber ensembles and created graphic scores with Acousmographe. Her first album Air (2014) features works for instruments and electronics. This year’s Nano-Cosmos is her first solo set of acousmatic pieces.
