Since completing his studies at Rennes and Paris conservatories, French pianist and composer Melaine Dalibert has won recognition both for his own music and as an interpreter of Gérard Pesson, Giuliano D’Angiolini, Tom Johnson and Peter Garland, among others. Fascinated by natural phenomena and inspired by media artist Véra Molnar’s work, Dalibert has developed algorithmic procedures of composition containing the notion of stretched time.
