Born in Ségou in 1953, Mali pianist/organist Cheick Amadou Tidiane Seck began playing in 1970 in The Super Rail Band De Bamako. He has played with Salif Keita, Youssou N’Dour, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Damon Albarn and Ornette Coleman, among others.
