Born in Germany in 1965, Thomas Köner studied music in Dortmund and Arnheim. As half of progressive techno duo Porter Ricks, Köner was cover star of The Wire 169. In the decades since he has expanded into multimedia art, integrating composition, visual arts, installation work and music production, while collaborating with Max Eastley and film maker Jürgen Reble, among others. His numerous awards include Golden Nica Ars Electronica (Linz), Transmediale Award (Berlin) and Best Young Artist At ARCO (Madrid).
