Aguafina is Swiss duo damelove’s debut EP. Consisting of rapper Reypharaoh and producer Amos a la Playa, they call their sound “sad-boy reggaeton”. On Aguafina, damelove explore a relaxed, afterhours take on the genre, pushing the tension between closeness and distance within the gaps of the dembow riddim. It is music for a time in which it remains uncertain when and where its listeners will be allowed to dance to it.
