City is the alias of Vancouver, Canada’s Will Ballantyne, who has released records on Halcyon Veil, Ascetic House and PTP. He is also is a member of the s.M.i.L.e. collective. City is active both as a performer and a collaborator, most recently with i.o on Spirit Volume (PTP) and with Tianzhuo Chen in the three day performance work TRANCE. He has toured his live set nationally and internationally, including commissioned special performances at galleries like Tai Kwun Contemporary in Hong Kong and the abandoned West Coast Printing factory in Seattle during the Corridor Festival.
