Tolouse Low Trax is the solo project of Detlef Weinrich, who is also a member of Kreidler and resident DJ at Düsseldorf’s Salon des Amateurs. As Tolouse Low Trax, he works with a limited set-up: one MPC, rudimentary synths, few effects and a mixer. A significant distance from Weinrich’s early industrial inspirations, this is raw dub, leaning towards hiphop.
