From Volutes

Formed in 2015 by Mathieu Gabry and Christine Ott, French chamber duo Snowdrops draw from a combination of contemporary classical, jazz, electronic music and film scores. Indeed they spent their first few years composing for film – their soundtrack work includes the score to Phuttiphong Aroonpheng’s Manta Ray, which won the Lion Award for Best Film at the 2018 Venice Film Festival. Volutes, their most recent album for Injazero, is described as an eloquent miniature symphony of strings, piano and the Ondes Martenot, which is Ott’s specialist instrument.
