The New York based electronic music producer Lui’s Isolation Loops EP follows a trilogy of EPs that began with 2018’s Retroism. Built from abstract electronics, his latest EP was inspired by a spell with Covid-19 that directly informs the release. “ASMR” pivots abruptly between spine-tingling atonal electronics and hauntologic drone.
