Maxx Mann

"Bloody And Blue" (instrumental)

From Maxx Mann

Formed in 1981, New York new wave duo Maxx Mann’s music provides snapshots from the city’s gay life on the cusp of the AIDS crisis, with songs inspired by cruising backroom bars, BDSM and one night stands. After meeting in a Greenwich Village cabaret bar, Frank Oldham Jr (vocals, lyrics) and Paul Hamman (music) worked together three to four times a week recording their debut self-titled album, which was originally released in 1982 in a run of 500 copies.
