Eight years after the release of his first solo album Kabul Fire Vol 1, Hamburg based producer Farhot takes a hiphop infused journey back to his roots in Afghanistan with its sequel. While the previous record made reference to his homeland, the 13 tracks on Vol 2 completely centre around the country Farhot and his family were forced to flee when he was a child – musically, but also thematically through its samples and quotes.
