Italian composer Luca Formentini has worked with artists from a range of musical and expressive contexts, including Holger Czukay, Alvin Curran, Markus Stockhausen and Lino Capra Vaccina. With roots in improvisation, he takes an intuitive, effects-laden unguitar approach to his instrument. His work encompasses ambient music, field recordings, sonic research and a recent return to the use of voice, in a multilayered mix of free flow and composition.
