French cellist Gaspar Claus has explored diverse genres, from film soundtracks, post-classical, ambient, neo-flamenco, pop and electro to contemporary jazz. Claus’s collaborations include work with artists such as Bryce Dessner, Sufjan Stevens and his father, the renowned flamenco guitarist Pedro Soler. His debut solo album Tancade aims to evoke chamber music suspended in the fourth dimension or the strange folk music of an undiscovered tribe.
