Emerging from the Norwegian jazz scene, tenor saxophonist Bendik Giske developed his repertoire over two solo albums alongside visual and performance art collaborations such as Wu Tsang’s We Hold Where Study and his own Matter, commissioned by the Riga Biennial. Later collaborations include work with Caterina Barbieri, and “Untitled” with Pavel Milyakov (aka Buttechno), released by Smalltown Supersound earlier this year.
