Mark Stewart co-founded Bristol post-punk band The Pop Group before going on to experiment further with industrial, dub and more with Maffia. On his latest album VS, his songs are reshaped by a host of peers including longstanding collaborator Adrian Sherwood, Mike Watt, Stephen Mallinder and the late Mika Vainio and Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry. On “New Error” he’s joined by Japanese noise artist KK Null aka Kazuyuki Kishino.
