From CEMENTO
Niton formed in 2013 on the Italian-Swiss border. Starting from freely improvisational attitudes, the trio have moved in various expressive contexts for Luca Xelius Martegani’s analogue synthesizers, El Toxyque’s amplified objects and Zeno Gabaglio’s electric cello. Their third album Cemento features materials collected from 2015–20 in Ticino, Varese, Zurich and Milan, in theatre spaces, recording studios, Alpine lakes, Romanesque churches, arthouse cinemas and finally a cement factory.
