Norwegian artist Susanna Wallumrød is the woman behind Susanna And The Magical Orchestra (with Morten Qvenild), as well as a collaborator with artists such as Jenny Hval and Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy. Alongside this Susanna has long been an interpreter of other people’s works, from AC/DC to Dolly Parton, Joy Division to Henry Purcell, and on the 2020 album Baudelaire & Piano and its sequel Elevation, the poetry of Charles Baudelaire in translation by Anthony Mortimer.
