Currently living in Normandy in northern France, Eryck Abecassis composes electronic, orchestral and chamber music. As well as being an active film and theatre composer, he is also the creator of large-scale outdoor events including the internationally performed La Vague featuring a wave of 250 instrumentalists, Kloch!, for musicians, prepared bell tower and tuned car, and the land opera Rivière Song. His collaboration with Zeitkratzer leader Reinhold Friedl, Animal électrique, was released by Editions Mego in 2020.
