Ugandan producer, dancer and choreographer Faizal Mostrixx’s vision of East African electronic music is a lush tapestry of polyrhythms, modern dancefloor styles, amapiano, Nile basin ceremonial chants and Pan-African field recordings. Currently based in Lyon, France, Mostrixx has appeared at both the African and European editions of the Nyege Nyege festival. “Muke Eka (Woven Tales)” is an unreleased track from the sessions for his second album Mutations.
