Formed in 2010 and currently comprising César Zembla and Sérgio Lemos, Portuguese avant rock group Volcano Skin experiment both within and beyond the limits of the song format. On their third album Nocturnos Para A Rainha De Sabá (2022), they combine influences and instrumentation from jazz and dub with inspiration from the worlds of cinema, photography, comics and literature.
