Formed by UK producers Spooky-J and pq and members of Kampala’s Nilotika Cultural Ensemble, Nihiloxica are a crosscultural conversation exploring the common ground between techno and Uganda’s Bugandan drumming tradition. Harnessing the full force of the percussive rhythms, Nihiloxica focus on the dancefloor through an industrial techno lens. Following their 2021 debut Kaloli, their new album Source Of Denial channels distorted, chaotic energy into a critique of immigration policies in the UK and around the world.
