Philadelphia duo Tulipomania’s Tom Murray and Cheryl Gelover first joined forces when taking classes in experimental film and animation – and they continue to produce their own visually distinctive videos. Murray’s dramatic vocals and Gelover’s textured synthesizers place Tulipomania’s music between post-punk influenced synth pop and lush chamber pop, with the former brought to the fore in this remix by Martyn Ware and his Illustrious Company co-composer Charles Stooke.
