Formed by drummer and composer Maxwell Hallett (The Comet Is Coming, Soccer96) to channel psychedelic dub vibes, Champagne Dub feature Ruth Goller (bass), Ed Briggs (electronics) and performance artist and vocalist Mr Noodles. Their new album Rainbow was mostly recorded at Quartermass Sound Lab in London and also features Hallett’s father, musician and Wire contributor Clive Bell, on melodica, toy panpipes and shakuhachi.
