Laura Agnusdei, Matteo Pennesi and Luca Sguera have been active for more than ten years across Italy’s experimental, DIY and jazz fields. They started collaborating at a residency for the Holydays Festival in 2020, the results forming {scope}’s debut album, A Week From Monday. Nightcap was recorded in the studio of musician and producer Francesco Piro, who also contributes vocals, percussion and processing to the trio’s reeds, synths, piano and electronics.
