Formerly known as TAU5, TAU are a Berlin based quintet currently comprising Moritz Baumgärtner (drums), Philip Zoubek (keys), Philipp Gropper (sax), Felix Henkelhausen (bass) and Ludwig Wandinger (electronics). Occupying a space between jazz, new music and ambient, the group explore processes of composition and improvisation, jamming and (re)editing. TAU’s new album Chants will be released this month.
