"It Rides A Horse"

From Nothing Will Grow In The Soil

Combining resonant drones and rich timbres with dark torch songs, Sealionwoman are the London duo of vocalist Kitty Whitelaw and double bass player Tye McGivern. Where their 2018 debut album Siren explored legends of the shapeshifting selkie, the recently released second album Nothing Will Grow In The Soil is inspired by ancient yew trees. It’s correspondingly rooted in heavier territory of low frequencies and churning effects.
