Active since the early 1990s, in the last decade Bordeaux based musician RG Rough has released several albums on the Bam Balam label, including collaborations with guitarist Richard Pinhas, Acid Mothers Temple leader Makoto Kawabata, and the late New York poet Steve Dalachinsky. With his 60/70/80 trilogy, he crafts elaborate pieces comprising hundreds of one or two second samples taken from records made in each of those decades.
