New York born composer Christopher Cerrone’s works range from solo instrumental and vocal pieces through to orchestral, spatial and multimedia works. Often incorporating electronics, his music is characterised by a subtle handling of timbre and resonance. His score for the opera adaptation of Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities was a 2014 Pulitzer Prize finalist; he has also adapted ee cummings’s poems and the writings of Kurt Vonnegut.
