Originally formed by drummer and producer Frank Byng (This Is Not This Heat), South London collective Snorkel began in the early 2000s as an open workshop dedicated to groove-based improvisation. Over time, Snorkel have included Ben Cowen (7-Hurtz), Roberto Sassi (Abstract Concrete), Tom Marriott (Pest), Ralph Cumbers aka Bass Clef, and Grace Jones’s live keyboardist Charles Stuart, who all feature on the third LP Past Still Present Tense. snorkelmusic.bandcamp.com, slowfoot.co.uk
