Maria Teriaeva is a Russian-born composer and synthesist now based in France, who uses Buchla modular systems to fuse analogue textures with rock and orchestral instruments. After a decade in Russian indie bands, her solo debut Focus was released in 2017, followed in 2020 by Conservatory Of Flowers and earlier this year by Sayan – Savoie, a meditation on exile and identity.
