Borful Tang has been stranded in this dimension for five years, dropped on the West coast of California by the Slave Birds in the year 2005. The last in a long line of Hill Herders, he can no longer practice his given trade nor play the music of the cultures he once knew as those materials and instruments do not exist in our time.

However, with the aid of producer Dominic Cramp and the support of Oakland, California record label Gigante Sound, Borful has utilised the technologies of the day to continue his exploration of other cultures; twisting music and media into patterns and narratives that make sense to him and express the alienation and isolation he feels from the imposition of this exile.

In time, it will be understood.
