Diskotopia Label Statement:

"Following from the recently released label compilation Diskotopia Various Artists Volume One, BD1982 and A Taut Line offer up a jagged piece of warehouse soul in the form of "Watch Her Peak". Elements of broken new jack swing drum patterns, scattershot percussion, pulsing synthesizer chords, forlorn diva wails and healthy bass knock are fused with a warm analogue crunch that encapsulates a Diskotopia release.

Aside from sharing co-production duties on the Diskotopia Dub versions of various tracks included on past releases, A Taut Line and BD1982 also co-run and manage the Diskotopia label. Formed in 2005 as an events collective in Osaka, the label has been running out of Tokyo since late 2010.

Releases on Diskotopia throughout 2011 came from A Taut Line, BD1982, Visionist, Greeen Linez and Slackk along with remixes from Royalty, Optimum & Ikonika, Shy One, Murlo, Photomachine, BNJMN, Pacheko and legendary post-punk/new wave artist Stuart Argabright under his Dominatrix guise. Upcoming releases in 2012 include Mau'lin, Cloudy Busey, Myakkah and a much anticipated Greeen Linez LP."
