Noel Meek is the musician and co-owner of End Of The Alphabet Records, the New Zealand based label specialising in sound art and experimental music that he runs with his partner, artist Olivia Webb. He’s been involved in New Zealand’s underground music scene for more than 15 years. The forthcoming release Living In The Time Of The Golden Circle is not only Meek’s debut solo album and End Of The Alphabet’s first 12" – it also marks the label’s first anniversary. About “Spinning In Sand”, Meeks says: “It’s a love letter to Omar Souleyman, Kraus and David Murrow wrapped in a package of maximalist drone.”
