Coma World is a new collaboration between drummer Maxwell Hallett aka Betamax (The Comet Is Coming/Soccer96) and bassist Pete Bennie (Speaker’s Corner Quartet). Both layer their sounds on a blanket of electronic dark matter to create a sonic womb-like world for brave listeners to explore. Inspired by a friend’s recollections of being in a coma, on Coma World the duo delve into the mysteries of consciousness and return with a striking array of colourful sound artefacts.
