Hard Edges is an improvising brass trio comprising Chris Dowding (trumpet, piccolo trumpet, flugelhorn), Dave Amis (trombone) and Ben Higham (tuba, trumpet, flugelhorn). They have performed together for around five years, having worked individually with musicians such as trombonist Annie Whitehead, drummer John Stevens and pianist Keith Tippett. On this track from their Hard Edges Plus project, they are joined by London-based vocalist Brigitte Beraha, who has made waves recently with her quartet Lucid Dreamers.
