Todd Lerew is a composer and multi-instrumentalist living in San Francisco. He is the founder and curator of the Telephone Music project and inventor of the Quartz Cantabile, a new musical instrument which converts heat into sound. He also plays clarinet in the free improvisation group Chess Crimes, and his solo cassette Lithic Fragments is out now on the Brunch Groupe label.
