In April 2017, Rewire festival in The Hague hosted a conversation between journalist and author Robert Barry and electronic composer and engineer, Peter Zinovieff. During the talk Robert Barry introduces his latest book, The Music Of The Future, and questions how Zinovieff's work links to one of its topics: composers realising music as a material. The pair also discuss the genesis of Electronic Music Studios Ltd (EMS), which Zinovieff co-founded in 1969, as well as the synthesizers the studios built and marketed, musical scores and various artistic influences.
