Adventures in Sound & Music 18 July 2013: Norton Records Special

July 2013

Post-Hurricane Sandy, Norton Records have been picking up the pieces in their Brooklyn warehouse, and are finally back and releasing 45s from the dark corners of rock 'n' roll; from El Paso surf guitar groups to dance craze and answer records to one-man rockabilly home recordists.

The show spins a tonne of new Norton wax and features an interview with Norton co-founder and ex-Cramps drummer Miriam Linna, plus assorted 7"s from the depths of their catalogue. Hosted by Derek Walmsley. (All Norton 7" unless otherwise stated.)
