I don't know why people listen to the radio. I don't listen to the radio because I want to hear good or interesting music. I own tons and tons of good and interesting music already. I listen to the radio because I want to inform myself about new (to me) music. Most of The Wire radio shows are largely useless for this purpose because the tracks are not announced at all or at half an hours remove, which despite the playlist makes it difficult or (mostly) impossible to identify individual tracks.
Today I listen to the latest Stannard-show. Shazam tells me about one track I like that it is by Amirtha Kidambi, but she isn't on the playlist. I want to try again and to move back the button on the timeline, but every time I touch it, an "upgrade mixcloud" banner pops up and gets in the way, so nothing happens. Fuck! what have I to do with mixcloud?
