Guitarist Frédéric D Oberland, bassist Stéphane Pigneul and percussionist Ben McConnell formed Oiseaux-Tempête in Paris in 2012. On their self-titled debut album, released on Sub Rosa late last year, they intertwine their creative process with the work of French photographer and film maker Stéphane C, who has documented the existential conflicts brought on by the political and economic turmoil in Greece.
