Known as the godmother of Japanese electronica, Coppe’ swapped a career as an MTV VJ and radio DJ in favour of pursuing her solo music, establishing her own label, Mango + Sweetrice in 1995. Over the last two decades she has worked with artists including Plaid, Kettel, Nobukazu Takemura, Atom™ and DJ Vadim. The new album Void, her 15th, is available as a deluxe 24 track CD and 5" vinyl set, and features collaborations with the likes of Chris Mosdell, Henry ‘Shitmat’ Collins, Jilk and Cai Murphy. She will be on tour in the UK and Europe this September and October.
