Polish pianist and composer Kuba Kapsa writes music for film and theatre. Between 2006–14 he headed The Contemporary Noise Sextet. His latest venture is a series of modern classical music projects bearing the same title Vantdraught. The first, Vantdraught 10 Vol 1, featured ten classical instruments. The second and latest, Vantdraught 4, is a quartet composed for violin, clarinet/bass clarinet, trombone and piano that’s less repetitive and more intimate than its minimalist predecessor. Both feature artwork by the artist duo Kahn & Selesnick, and are released on Denovali.
