Sarah Angliss is a composer, performer and sound historian. Her music mixes theremin with Max software, ancient instruments and musical automata – machines she builds to give her performances an uncanny physical presence. Her solo album Ealing Feeder, which explores resonances between European folklore, modernity and early notions of sound, was released in April. A visiting research fellow at Goldsmiths, University of London, Angliss also composes for theatre.
