Formerly based in Tempe, Arizona, and currently located in Montreal, Gerald Biggs developed Filthy Grin as “a living sound journal to document explorations in the sonification of sculpture and body movement”. Over the past decade he has self-released a series of cassettes, performed with the US post-punk group Pigeon Religion, and collaborated with other artists including JS Aurelius, James Fella and more in various capacities, ranging from sound engineer to sound design.
