Iranian composer, multi-instrumentalist and actor Pouya Pour-Amin has worked with Tehran’s Camerata contemporary music ensemble as a double-bass player and composer. He has composed music for theatre, film and TV in Iran, and his music has been performed at Tehran’s SET Fest and Berlin’s CTM. He also plays in Migrain Sq with Sara Bigdeli Shamloo and Nima Aghiani. Pour-Amin first appeared on the Flaming Pines label as part of the Absence showcase of experimental music from Tehran, curated by Arash Akbari.
