Tony Lugo is a Cuban/Honduran American multidisciplinary artist and musician based in Baltimore who employs chaotic systemisations, electroacoustic composition and free improvisation to explore technological culture. Making use of self-designed software, emergent technologies and junk electronics, his work deconstructs auditory language in ascetic and often brutal ways. His work has been exhibited, published and performed in Baltimore, Berlin, Miami, Philadelphia, Rome, Rotterdam, Seoul and Vancouver.
